Rockies 8, Padres 4

September 24, 2017

Despite dropping their home finale, the Padres broke a single-season record. The team's 89 home runs at Petco Park is the most hit in a single season in San Diego.

Wil Myers and Yangervis Solarte were the third set of Padres to hit back-to-back home runs this season. Myers' 29th dinger of the season marks a new single-season high for the first baseman.

Christian Villanueva knocked a two-run homer in the sixth inning, making it his third home run in his last five games.
